Happy Valentines Day

People often complain that Valentine’s Day is a greeting card holiday. But I for one, love Valentine’s Day. First off, Hallmark did not come up with it. It was originally the feast day of a Saint who wrote letters of encouragement and love to others while he was imprisoned. Secondly, I think having a day on the calendar that reminds us how much we love each other is a good thing. I so often get lost in the hustle and bustle, but today I am reminded to cherish those I love…and to let them know I love them.
